First iPhone impression: Apparently I have to turn off the ability to make noises on every app individually rather than having any sort of common notification noise framework. How I feel about this can best be summarised as "JESUS H. CHRIST ON A POGO STICK ARE YOU SERIOUS?!"
Do new iPhones not have the physical SILENCE button any more? I just have that permanently on. The notifications are more for what is allowed to appear on the screen (not much).
They do, although this is very much not a new iPhone, I just didn't know what it was :-)
