sounds like you just want a relationship where you can both say the truth? boundaries are more about finding good ways to get the thing you both want rather than eliminating possibilities completely that you do want. maybe

Ok I think octopus has a strong point here. Many people use boundaries to never confront their fears. When ppl first start being poly, super common mistake is have a "boundary" be "you can date other ppl but you must not fall in love". Impossible to comply, also its just a fear
