I personally find these memes a bit distasteful. People have lots of reasons for doing or not doing something. Shame and fomo are powerful things, not to be toyed with.
Of course it's distasteful, that's the joke. And its a joke because poly people always stay quiet and respectful while mono people rage about how much damage we're doing to "the children". This meme is only distasteful because there is a dominant mono culture.

Also, there's no accounting for taste. I'm not saying you're doing something wrong. I'm just saying that I don't think my tastes, in this particular case, are dominated by mono culture. They may be, but I don't think so.
