This general sentiment has kinda become a meme in a lot of communities I've notice. In the bitcoin community, for example, it's "have fun staying poor".

I personally find these memes a bit distasteful. People have lots of reasons for doing or not doing something. Shame and fomo are powerful things, not to be toyed with.
