Yes, I think it may have! It was a huge thing in ~2006 when I was writing the first draft of that bit. It’s still around but seems to have lost mindshare.

David Bronner (of monist soap which leaves no residue fame) is literally writing laws that are getting passed in the US. Psychedelic mainstreaming is picking up steam on both sides of the Atlantic. Ethno-dualism is having a moment, but I don’t see monism going anywhere.

Thinking a bit more, monism/ressentiment/green/N’s “Judea” all seem to be groping at a similar thing —weakness/victim fetish— and the names all seem wanting. I’m left with a bit more compassion for Wilber just assigning memetic clusters colors. Not anti-Semitic or obv wrong.
