woah a thought is fear strictly transitive? can you be afraid without being afraid *of something*? can you be afraid of anything other than *an outcome*?

I find the notion that fear isn’t transitive extremely boring rn which makes me think the question I should have asked is what does it mean if fear is strictly transitive feels similar to flipping a coin about something and realizing you’re not indifferent after all

I feel like you can be afraid without knowing what are afraid of. It’s like anger, the fear is causing the anger, and you don’t even realize you were afraid probably of something completely unrelated or strange like oblivion.
