It’s clearer in light of Jess’ blog post on performing masculinity, which is insightful, steamy, and recommended. But a leap from “Jess, androgynous neurotypical woman, performs masculinity so well she’s perceived as a man” to “Everyone can perform any gender,” doesn’t ring true

I (autist) barely learned to perform my own gender! I would be utterly hopelessly ridiculous trying to perform femininity. Also, femininity is more heavily policed than masculinity, so there’s a higher bar. Still, good troll!
