hahah! It probably helps that I've spent a lot of my life in travel, and almost always for happy reasons (eg seeing family I haven't seen in a while) so I associate airports with upcoming happy feels. Also no one ever bothers me at the airport, so it's like an introvert's dream.
Ah yes, agree! The sweet alone time introverts can access when in a faceless crowd. It's why I live in big cities.

I'm fairly extrꜵverted but I also love airports (and being on the planes themselves). I think it's the sense of like... nobody is expecting me to be anywhere or do anything for some number of hours. Free time in a way that even my usual lifestyle doesn't usually feel.
