I was inspired, btw, to write a long tweet thread about gender in Vajrayana, based on the podcast plus the remarks from @_awbery_ posted independently the day before but I ran out of braincells

it probably would have turned into a 108-volume encyclopedia anyway

it does also seem like a good time for someone to reiterate Rinpoche’s point that if you think a black woman can’t be fully enlightened, you can’t practice chöd and black women arguably invented the thing in the first place

Rin’dzin and I are still going in circles about how/whether/when we’re ever going to write or talk about the relationship between nonduality and being non-binary/bisexual, and that was going to be part of the tweet thread too you can see how it got daunting and I dropped it
