I thought I was seeing a faint thing like I've seen in photos when I was out in the mountains recently. I always thought those pictures come from extended exposure type things.

That’s kinda sad actually. I grew up in a dark enough place that I could see it at least faintly most clear days growing up. But seeing it from deep remote wilderness is truly spectacular. It’s one of my criteria for a retirement location.

A lot of my anecdotes have a deeply sad angle, I like to have the sad in there openly, mixed with the beauty. Thanks for noticing :)
