As well as “notice if I’m still disbelieving, carefully find more objections, and then more examples to look at” Or sometimes the thing I need to look at is not an example, but my own belief/emotion that I hadn’t noticed before “Oh so this is why I believe X”

Alright, then yeah I took “intellectual” to mean “rule-based / symbolic-ish reasoning” Though even then, finding examples does include systematized reasoning for me
