Ok wait. When you have a sexual fantasy, is it from a first- or third- person perspective? Like, are you seeing mostly *through your own eyes*, or from any even slightly shifted perspective (e.g. you can see your own face)? (And first: male or female?)

i do both generally if the fantasy involves me, as i am, it’s first person if it involves some fantasy version of me (e.g. me as a girl, me as gigachad, etc.) it’s third person

weird thing for me about sexual and other fantasies is that usually i’ll identify with at least one of the characters in the fantasy, altho the perspective can switch

Oh I’m ~the opposite! If I have an “as I am” fantasy it leans more third-person, and if I imagine myself in a male body it’s more likely first. I can see how that could suggest I’m trans but I don’t think so. Was guessing first/third has to do with smth like “objectification”...

also another thing is that my imagination typically isn’t strongly visual i’m usually only get clear images of memories, and when imagining something i haven’t seen myself it’s not usually a very clear image

I love having first person fantasies of me in a male body :) otherwise I’d say I switch between first and third equally
