the LessWrong diaspora has a method/tool called "tabooing" words. It means taking a moment to fully describe what one means by a word before proceeding. It's excellent for not getting bogged down in arguments over semantics & is essential to have a logical/philosophical convo.

Hmmm... Well then I humbly suggest we just use ‘defining terms’. Rationalism has lots of useful jargon laden with meaning and context. Agree, and think that is a powerful element in conversations that might otherwise not be going well, especially when the problem is often that one if the words ports in a lot of connotation (freedom, happiness) even if you define it
