I think it’s slightly to one side of that... I think given very little data “masculine” makes up a bunch of assumptions that if true would make the outcome better but “feminine” has to hedge that you just don’t know and have to play safe socially.
And this tracks - men always make social faux pas that women can’t stand because they “didn’t know” about some fact or other but women are taught pro-social is the ultimate goal so you have to be way more guarded and cautious always

I don't actually buy this. In both cases the strategy is assuming that others want what you want. Fem strategy is not socially safe if people at the table prefer masc strategy.

I do think that fem will look really stupid and create social danger from other fem if they choose masc option. Similar with masc choosing fem option to other men. And I think that in general social hierarchy means there more social danger from your own gender.
