Yeah, part of what I'm trying to do with the poll is to see if the masc/fem dynamics are based on different assumptions. But it seems like that would actually undermine the point, which would be to show that different genders make different choices under the same assumptions.
I think it’s slightly to one side of that... I think given very little data “masculine” makes up a bunch of assumptions that if true would make the outcome better but “feminine” has to hedge that you just don’t know and have to play safe socially.

And this tracks - men always make social faux pas that women can’t stand because they “didn’t know” about some fact or other but women are taught pro-social is the ultimate goal so you have to be way more guarded and cautious always

I don't actually buy this. In both cases the strategy is assuming that others want what you want. Fem strategy is not socially safe if people at the table prefer masc strategy.
