Is the antagonistic description (lie to your 'idiot clients') your true belief or flavour to make reading exciting? It draws a pretty depressing picture.
Bit of both. The whole idea that “interviewing” for any job actually being a good method of choosing people is pretty idiotic - we all know it.

Luckily I’m experienced enough now that the first meet with the client has become a business meeting to see if their needs and my skills match. Much more grown up.
