After a few occasions this can be brought down to 3 months and options for longer term creative activity arise. Eventually, boredom with vegging out and video games comes along fairly quickly, and questions of meaningful activity change from being optional to being critical

This time it took just one week to get all my needs met, and become bored. I've been scouting around for meaningful activity for myself for 12 months now, identifying multiple blockers, moving round or through those using multiple techniques. Not finding anything.

Thank you for sharing. My partner has been going through this and at first it was hard to tell if it was this or depression. But I've come to realise that it's totally natural and needed.
