non-monogamy right now is just trying to find people you like who have small-enough germ circles that they pass you & your roommates' standards. you date a person but really you date their roommates & roommates' partners & roommates' partners' roommates too
This was already true for STIs and even colds if there’s an immuno compromised person in the group. V easy to transition to this.
