I'm not very philosophically literate. Jogging my memory on wikipedia I have found value in ideas like there is no Outside Text, hyperreality, deconstruction, frames, and metanarratives.

So it seems to me: I see it necessary and good in the sense that Post Modernism represents the strongest articulated tools for freeing us from intellectual forms as an intellectual form.

I aim to avoid moral value judgements (good/bad etc)... it is definitely necessary, useful, interesting, confronting, difficult and vital.

It is at least a necessary transitional phase to some new way of knowing. I think people who advocate a return to modernism are a bit naive.
