Bizarre that people feel empowered to talk for the whole of a group that they presumably are a part of without having had that power of represtsntion bestowed upon them by said group in any way

If someone attacks a group, and a member of that group is present, they will respond to the attack with insider knowledge and appear to be speaking on behalf of the whole group which is partially ok because an ingroup member does know more than the attacker about the ingroup
