Yeah I think this points to a thing I was going to say, that it isn’t so much that I’ve managed to accept those things on face value, but that I’ve accepted a broader context which is one of the futility of hope/fairness, and then trying to relate to things as relevant constraint

Because even though it probably sounds psychotic, ‘life depending on x’ is downstream from the assumption that someone wants to live a life dependent on x. If you make that x big enough, the emphasis on particular constraints becomes less of a big deal, and also more fun I think
