No, that's not right. I've worked in finance for small tech firms for years! When companies advertise 25 days leave, they mean 25 days + 8 days paid bank holidays.

I worked in lots of retail jobs when I was younger, and they don't generally offer work from home (even discouraged) or cycle to work schemes either! That job spec reads like a typical professional job spec.

The package (work from home allowed, 25 days leave etc) is generally pretty generous. I thought the OP was poking fun at companies offering similar packages
