My middle school English teacher recommended I read Jean M. Auel's clan of the cave bear and all i remember is the scene where they figure out doggy style by watching mammoths go at it

first thing that came to mind was a series of historical fiction set in world war II Paris. there were some erotic chapters that melted my mind. not sure exactly what the impact was, but i didn't feel very guilty reading them and that was a big deal.

idk how this is possible but I have a memory of a teacher who told a story about putting a marble in a jar every time you make love for the first year of marriage and take one out every time after and the moral was you wouldn’t get all the marbles back & I was deeply traumatized

I didn’t really get what making love was but it sounded good and the moral of the story felt incredibly heavy and sad and resigned and right there and then I made a very innocent promise to myself to enjoy hot sex v much forever
