one thing that lowkey weirds me out about video calls is you have no idea how big you are on the other person’s computer like maybe they have you full-screen on a 49” monitor and your new zit is literally three inches across and you’ll never know it
you can kinda tell by where their eyes are on the screen, if they are looking down, you're only half their screen size, if its harder to tell, you full width for sure. I try to put people under the camera at the top so that they think I'm looking at them
yeah i always forget that my eye movements are way less subtle than i think they are
