I dunno, all the examples I can think of come with some other kind of negative behaviour e.g. doing others down while bigging oneself up, lying... if the person is literally saying the exact same words, it's probably the tone? And you can choose to be offended by tone or not
But it doesn't change their actual competence nor their factual statements about same. I don't really believe in stawmanning the way someone expresses themselves

Ok well I strongly believe that people are responsible for their own feels, and so the difference is still in the eye of the beholder. I can’t control if someone feels intimidated or elevated when I celebrate myself openly. Each person will react differently
