Some disadvantages of the ones I know of:
EA - nihilist burnout of members,
ironically quite ineffective
#GameB - no sense of humour, terrible ideas go un-laughed at
Rats: too obsessed with things that don’t matter
Post rats: perfect in every way ofc
It's interesting you think EA's are ineffective, as I see them as the most successful creating change so far. They are weirdly good at raising money too. But they are allergic to deeply systemic change though and have weird quasi-religious moral blame thing that causes burnout.
I've just been getting into GameB, interesting that they have no sense of humor. Seems like an important immune system.
