I think the point is that the usual justification for broadcasting violations of traditional morality is that the violators are oppressed, and this justification does not apply here.

I’m polyamorous but I can fully grok why you think traditional relationships are a better moral solution to certain human problems. I’m a feminist and hang out with men’s rights activists. I can see their point. I don’t think either side is right or wrong in an abstract sense.
