Has anyone seen a good critical examination of disgust psychology? (e.g. "disgust as pathogen avoidance," "this trait/condition predicts this kind of disgust")

There's a book called "Anatomy of Disgust" by William Ian Miller that I read because of interest in menstruation. It's a summary tour rather than a paper but the bibliography might have good links.

Miller's is a fantastic and seminal book in disgustology, but more of a philosophical-anthropological meditation, and also over two decades old.
