People think when you have PMS you're a different person.
LOL.
You just have less self-control and so are much more honest. It's like a 3 day window where you just tell everyone what you think in the other 27

I read one essay saying that it’s during these three days that women get to be “human” / normal / like men ie say what they really think, the rest of the time is smiling, playing nice, being the social glue etc that is the fake role put onto women and girls.

Take off the part before “etc”, imagine this was written by a man and it’s suddenly rude.

“That is the fake role put onto women and girls” ? This sentence on its own makes no sense whether spoken by a man or a woman because you need to know what role the person is talking about. Am I misunderstanding? Broadly there are indeed things women can say that men can’t rn

Oops, I meant take the part before the etc, not take it off. In the end the put onto shines a light on what you mean, but the first part saying women are only normal / human during their period is pretty cruel on its own

I found it inspiring to think of the “bad” time as the “normal” time and the “good” time as the abnormal time. Because society punishes women for being angry or opinionated. The essay had more than 240 characters to convey the nuance tho.
