yeah I guess the spaces I'm exposed to that do this sort of thing often have explicit "no singles" policies to keep lone men out but that's the sort of policy that happens when stuff jumps from friends to public, I guess
Seems to be a straight people problem! & Yes the public/private divide is big. FWIW I think bi culture is great, needs to pull away from L&G and I’d recommend it to straight guys! Just always use gender neutral pronouns (they, person, people, partner, someone) and you’re golden

hah maybe, tho organizers are almost always queer/queer adjacent. I think it's the public(ish) thing. Haven't been to one, just heard stuff directly from organizers/participants. Basically all friend-group sexuality dynamics benefit from a breaking down of any binaries haha
