Undoubtedly #gameb is attractive to / created by those traditionally progressive left-leaning looking for a 'non-political' / 'non-activist' / 'actually-figure-out-and-do-some-shit' option. Mostly left-leaners who are fairly respectful of other political viewpoints, I imagine.

It seems like both sides of the political spectrum are talking new language, esp. in inline intellectual circles, whilst trying pretty hard to give the impression they're not doing politics. If #gameb can get real stuff done, it's post-politics; if not, it's the left in disguise

I agree with part one: It strikes me that many thinking people, from various quadrants of the political galaxy, are talking new languages and trying to avoid doing politics because the model for national / international politics right now is a corrupt garbage fire

On this point: "If #gameb can get real stuff done, it's post-politics" I agree, and I've decided it's the domain in which to put any remaining public-spiritedness and citizen/political energy that I still retain

I have zero hopes, very few illusions, but still in it It's a hail-mary pass at this point. Why not throw it?

"if not, it's the left in disguise" Here's my objection to this statement - the term "the left" has very little value anymore. There are many, many "lefts" Its the fuckin Judean People's Front vs. People's Front of Judea

I won't cop to #gameB being "just the left in disguise" because I don't think that's an accurate or useful thing to say. It's imprecise because the semantic field of the phrase "the left" is way too big.
