This definitely gets to me in a lot of circles. It doesn't seem to be lost on the leader though.
Are there other practices you know of aside from circling that help people express their emotions (instead of labelling/talking about them)?

@QiaochuYuan I think locking yourself in a door, lighting some candles, and beating a large drum while chanting some emotionally salient lines until you can write poetry, then screaming that poetry into the void works pretty well. Probably risky though -
I really like VIEW workshops in San Francisco by Joe Hudson. Also frankly just having someone hold space with the intention that your a jumbled repressed mess and want to yell a bunch of hurtful shit that may or may not be true or yours to get the emotions going is fine.
