Finally got a strong "felt" sense of culture atomisation when I realised my eclectic friend gets *weekly* new music playlists from iTunes, meaning the market can both support more niche artists somewhat, but also ensuring his music overlap with others will remain minimal

Same for when I began to dread it when someone at the office said they loved a new Netflix TV show, because it was never one I'd watched, or one that someone else had mentioned. I abandoned the attempt to track names, because no two were the same. We can no longer talk about tv.
