I’m really enjoying the fact that I say... “and that is my job” out in the wild quite a lot, when talking about various contentious topics and how to solve them. I wonder if it comforts others.

Some people are particularly well suited for it, I think you're one of them. In terms of comforting others, MMs might just annoy others, but not as much as the other tribes do

Agreed MMs are by necessity annoying! I guess I meant I hope innocent bystanders are comforted by the idea that MMs are out there, mediating stuff ...

Ha! Well I hope not too comforted that they don't start getting to work mediating the people and sub-selves in their own life
