so the sex workshop had a thing where everyone who spoke up had to give pronouns and there was a pair in a row that was like “[name], she/her/goddess” *wild cheering* “[name], he/him/human” and it continues to strike me that he knew he couldn’t get away with “he/him/god”

at some point the presenter asked “how many of you are witches?” and like half the room’s hands flew up i say this not to judge witches, but to note that there was no corresponding question about wizards, or warlocks, or shamans, or warriors, or priests

the workshop claimed to be very egalitarian but it was at its heart a feminine space. and nothing wrong with feminine spaces, what bothers me is that the workshop didn’t own this about itself

The workshop didn’t know this about itself. It still feels very new for women to be able to be bombastic about themselves and have it be celebrated. It feels hard to accept men jumping right back on the “look at me” train so quickly, so it’s not encouraged.
