Pick three books that you have read and are reasonably sure nobody else has read all three of, then explain why they actually all share a common theme and each of the three is essential for understanding it.

I wonder what the smallest set of (published) books that I've read that uniquely identifies me is (i.e. no one other person has read all of those books)

Here's an easy solution from me: * Foundations of Rational Choice Under Risk * Epistemology and the Psychology of Human Judgement * Random Justice This trilogy is about the connection between intuition, reason, and rationality, with each describing how one or more fails.

I think there's a decent chance that any two books in this set have common readers, but "Random Justice" is the outlier that makes it work by virtue of the fact that it's a niche treatise on a niche corner of legal theory.

Obviously you really need to read all of: * 100 Ways To Improve Your Writing * The Uses of the Erotic * The Best Kept Secrets of Peer Code Review To understand how we can work together to create excellence.

If you haven't read all three of: * Small Arcs of Larger Circles * Sorting Things Out: Classification And Its Consequences * The Strategy of Conflict Do you really understand the way we collectively negotiate and create our shared social world?

I do but it's a book I reference quite frequently. Happy to lend it to you for a week or two but wouldn't want to part with it for a more extended period
