What benefits have you seen from keeping notes, journals and to-do lists?

standard benefit of writing things out = clarity. I have lost far fewer physical books than laptops/hardrives/blogs over the years, so durable. And re-read value is
priceless. Diaries lovely obviously but that 6 years of to-do lists staggers me now - I acheived so much! - Show replies
