MetaJess added,
Mmm! Valued this. A few thoughts as I read it: 1. is there a list of such egregores somewhere? I've read the posts on Moloch & Ra, and I recall hearing a few other Lovecraftian monsters coined (blind idiot god of evolution, etc) but it would be neat to have a semi-canonical list
2. blindspots vs part of mind actively maintaining the not-seeing relates to McGilchrist's @divided_brain work. Seems that the left hemisphere's *job* is to have blindspots. Ideally it integrates new stuff from RH, but most people are traumatized such that it actively suppresses
Reply to 1) yep the blind evolution god is Azathoth. I’ve found one list online that lists the ones from our crowd separately, will find the link soon. But yes a canonical list would be great :)
