Very interesting. But all those $s and all those years... but for what? What are the benefits of enlightment? Is it really worth it?

After the afterglow of awakening ends and it’s back to chop wood, carry water, I’d guess the average person would arrive at 85% of the same place just doing a heroic dose of psychedelics once a year.
