Yeah it’s a weird one. Maybe most people are bad at judging their own attractiveness?
I feel like it might be a weird semi-conscious self-sabotage which is half insecure, half “fight me”, and helps them say they tried Tinder and it didn’t work, so that they can keep the narrative they have of themselves.
