Just realised my banner pic is of the classic tinder ‘which one are they’ type. I’m the not-blonde one, but the photo is also 8 years old...
Not strictly relevant to your pic,as it's not really present in your one (probs because its not on Tinder), but within that "which one are they" trope, "they" are always the not hot one. I have no idea why people post photos of themselves with their more attractive friends.

I feel like it might be a weird semi-conscious self-sabotage which is half insecure, half “fight me”, and helps them say they tried Tinder and it didn’t work, so that they can keep the narrative they have of themselves.
