Is there a gender neutral term for fraternity+sorority? Maybe siblingtry if one doesn’t exist?

I live in such a group - “housemate” ain’t cutting it. We sometimes use “chosen family” and recently thanks to the book “A Long Way To A Small Angry Planet” sometimes say “feather family”. +1 to squad as a contender.
Fictive kinship group is indeed what I’m getting at here so ‘society’ would be a couple of abstraction levels too high. Even tribe would be too high.-
