Is there a gender neutral term for fraternity+sorority? Maybe siblingtry if one doesn’t exist?
Along with maternity and paternity these are all Latin words for family members, so the gender neutral would be a familiaty. Society probs better.

Fictive kinship group is indeed what I’m getting at here so ‘society’ would be a couple of abstraction levels too high. Even tribe would be too high. -
