FWIW that sort of response (often expressed with angry disdain ) is the dominant form of media criticism I see on Twitter. Should Nikkei have done better? Yup. If you want that to happen, subscribe so they can hire specialists.

San Francisco feels very changed since I was last here in March 2020. Many more homeless near Union Square. Market St empty. Many shops closed - certainly the flagship retail palaces. But there are still queues outside the high end luxury stores …
