The word you’re looking for to describe today is clusterfracas. It gives a sense of the chaos and inexplicable ridiculousness of the situation and can be used in front of all age groups.

Cannot. Wait. "Daniel Craig once again shows us his handsome-Shrek face and the lovable bat ears, flecked with the scars of yesterday's punch-up, the lips as ever pursed in determination or disgust."

Daniel Craig with a duchess at the No Time To Die premiere. The man can definitely wear a suit. Reportedly he told the Duchess of Cambridge she looked "jolly lovely".

Was watching Casino Royale last night with the kids (it's important to be blooded into the Bond world at an early age) and it occurred to me that Daniel Craig is to them what Roger Moore is to me.

For those following the climate debate: you might hear some MPs referring to Britain's energy crisis as an argument against pursuing zero net emissions. Is that fair? Have a read of piece and decide.

Latest vaccination figures show ACT leading on both first doses (88.6 per cent) and second doses (62.2 per cent) followed by NSW (86.2 per cent first dose and 61.7 per cent second dose).

Can't wait to sink into Crossroads: "The Franzen-shaped hole in our reading lives is like a bog that floods at roughly eight-year intervals. This time that bog is shot through with intimations of light."

Good, clear guide to the ACT's path/map/plan for the way out of lockdown. Everyone keeps asking when they can travel out of the ACT. I know it's frustrating but, to be fair, that also confronts NSW & Vic so probably not one just for Andrew Barr right now.

Working from home is really just a passive aggressive roller coaster ride of stalking around seeing if someone has bothered to pack the dishwasher - but then huffily redoing it if the someone else hasn't done it the way you would.

Not sure anyone who has anything to do with kids thought this was a good idea (although I'm always surprised by the number of parents who let their under 13s have accounts): Facebook puts Instagram Kids on hold amid criticism of planned app

Childcare giant Goodstart Learning will make vaccinations mandatory for all of its 15,000 staff nationwide. As an aside, I have no doubt Goodstart is motivated by health reasons BUT it wd also make it very attractive to parents trying to choose a centre.

PM was on Face the Nation on CBS (US news show) and this is a sample of the questions: * Do you think less liberty is medically necessary? We had a huge argument over that in this country. Why did you think it was worth it in Australia? * When will Australians be able to leave?
