Officials say they need to close the polling places because they don't comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act. But they also say "there is no document, report or analysis studying the handicap accessibility of polling places in the county in the last year

The county is pointing to compliance with the ADAt to justify the decision to close the sites. But from 2012-2015 the county was under a settlement agreement with DOJ to bring facilities, including polling sites, into compliance. So where did the new ADA issues come from?
