1) This is a fantastic question to ask. I PM'd the redesign of the Vevo home screen a few years back which involved introducing algorithmically recommended content for the first time (music video playlists, artists, videos themselves ) while still promoting our existing original

2) /editorially curated content. I didn’t know it at the time but working on the redesign uncovered deep, systemic issues in the company. There were philosophical differences between leaders as to how we would succeed, what value we add as a company, and where we should take the

Not a complete answer, but something to start with. You got to ask what all types of content (originals, licensed etc.) does Netflix have, why do they have them and the goals for each of them as it relates to Netflix’s overall vision.

Depends on who the cast is and how good the writing is for the content. I’m sure there is a way to have a system that rates those features and then maps where the shows appear in the UX
