Turnout remains pathetic though. Just over 8% of active Democratic voters in the district voted. Takes nothing away from her victory but anyone talking about the Queens "machine" is kidding themselves.

Good mapping of the Ocasio-Cortez upset. Weighs heavily against the conclusion that the race was decided along ethnic lines, even if it doesn’t quite resolve the question, to my mind.
