And here was me, in all seriousness, thinking that with so much stuff closing for the day and less traffic on the roads, what a great time it would be to get the kids away from screens and out in the fresh air on their bikes. Normally cycling round here is a nightmare!

This has been changed since the original advice - it's now just about formal organised events and races (nothing about personal riding)
Judging by the police behaviour this week people will be arrested & charged with a public order offence if they do so much as think about pumping their tyres up.
