why does having sympathy for white women/children come with comparison to the abuse of black and brown women/children, despite both stories being very similar, only to trivialize that similar abuse of said black and brown women and children?? racial. bias.

even the fact that LIFETIME had to take on the R Kelly documentary while Netflix took on Epstein’s also shows the difference in priorities for the most prominent media companies VS those that are there to really tell peoples stories

these women’s experiences are so similar that if you truly see the survivors of Epstein’s abuse more sympathetic than those of R Kelly’s, you should ask yourself why you believe poor white women being exploited is worse than poor black and brown women being exploited

they are literally the same and i don’t even see why there is a comparison being made in the first place.
